Shopping on line can be a wonderful experience. You receive homemade items that cannot be found in any store and most orders receive a little something special along with the order.

Thank you for choosing to order with The Primitive Lane. Below you will find important information you need to know before placing your order. It is important for you to know and understand that we stand by our policies and that whenplacing an order with us you signify your acceptance of our policies.

We are a Canadian based business.

All of our prices are in Canadian funds. Your handmade items are being shipped from Canada.

The Primitive Lane has a kiosk at the Grande Prairie Farmers Market open from 4-8pm on Fridays and 10am - 2 pm on Saturdays. If you would like to order products to be picked up at the Market please just leave us a note at checkout. Depending when you order your wares, we can tell you if it’s available for pick up that week! Order needs to be paid for in advance before processing. No refunds shall be issued once order has been paid for. If you live in or around the Grande Prairie areas, it’s a great place to pick up your order and be able to get some fresh vegetables, meat and take a look at other local crafters at the same time.

Order Processing Times:

Orders are processed in the order they are received.
Our order processing times vary, depending on the size and content of the order and the time of year.

Please keep in mind that most of our scented goods are made fresh at time of your order. I do have a kiosk in the local Grande Prairie Market and occasionally products can be pulled from there. This is why there are certain products available “in stock”.

We are a home based business therefore we do not keep large quantities of stock on hand. There may be times when more supplies may have to be ordered to process your order. Normal processing times before shipping is 7 to 10 days but most often sooner however if there is a delay due to stock availability we will notify you via email. We thank you for your patience on this.

How to order

Ordering is easy! When you have selected an item you wish to purchase simply click on the “ORDER” button located near the product description and it will add the item to your shopping cart. If you wish to continue shopping you can then click the “CONTINUE SHOPPING” button to continue shopping, or you can proceed with the next step in checking out.

If you have trouble at any time with placing your order online or feel more comfortable emailing us your order simply click on the “CONTACT” button located at the top of this page and let us know your selection and method of payment and we will take care of your order from there.

Methods of Payment

We accept credit cards and direct payments through Paypal. We also accept Money Orders and Personal Checks. Orders paid with checks will not be processed until check has cleared. Please insure that when placing an order internationally that money orders are the PINK international kind. If paying by check or money order, shipping will be emailed to you immediately to avoid having to send multiple payments; shipping will be calculated as exact as possible. Please wait for this email before sending check or money order.

Paying via credit card or direct debit through Paypal is secure. We NEVER receive your banking or credit card information. Paypal collects and processes the payments for us. Orders are not processed until payment has been received and cleared.

Paypal is FREE to use. If you don’t have a Paypal account it is definitely worth looking into to. It is a convenient way to make purchases via the internet using your bank account or credit card without sending personal information on the web. For more information, please via paypal.com.

Shipping

The Primitive Lane currently ships to Canada and the United States.

Your items will be shipped via Canada Post. It will be shipped expedited parcel and usually shipping time is 6 days within Canada. Insurance up to $100.00 is included in this price, extra insurance will be left up to the individual customer, it is $1.00 CAD for ever extra $100.00 in insurance.

Your order will be processed as soon as payment is received. You will be billed in most cases for your products purchased ONLY and once your order is finished, it will be weighed and brought to the Post Office for the exact shipping amount. Shipping costs are to be paid separately once your order has been processed. You will receive an email with your total shipping and handling fees. The Primitive Lane does not profit from shipping, you will be charge for EXACT shipping amount only. We will provide you with a tracking number for your parcel.

Please understand that your payment for your order signifies your acceptance to pay the shipping total to get your order to you. Under no circumstance will refunds be issued due to neglect to paying shipping fees.

We are not responsible for delays with the postal service. Please keep in mind that shipping times vary depending where you live.

Refunds:

Sorry, we do not under any circumstances offer refunds or exchanges on any of our products. Payments for all purchases including postage are all non refundable. All sales are final.

In good faith we process orders; make the order and customise it to your liking believing that you will follow through on your end and pay the shipping fees. Under no circumstance will refunds be issued due to neglect to paying shipping fees. We also do not give a refund or exchange if a scent is not to your liking. Your purchase from The Primitive Lane signifies your acceptance of the aforementioned information and policies.
