ORDERING & SHIPPING: We hope you have enjoyed our website and hopefully you get the chance to enjoy our store front someday! We look forward to seeing you! Right now, you can place an order from our website by calling The Primitive Lane. Visit our contact us page. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discovery credit cards for payment. All prices are in Canadian Dollars and 5% GST will be added to the price. We cannot give you a shipping quote before shipping but know that we will only charge you what the post office charges us with no handling fees. What you will see on your credit card statement is a charge for the order total and then a seperate charge when we ship in the amount of the shipping cost. All orders will be processed and shipped as soon as possible. In-house processing time is approximately 3 business days. Special Orders require a longer processing time and will vary by order (see below) If you have placed a special order, you will be notified of the processing time via email/phone within 1-3 business days of receiving your order, as we may need to contact the manufacturers.
Orders may also be placed over the phone for in store pick ups. We do not ship furniture pieces but some companies do allow us to ship directly to you.

FURNITURE: We cannot ship furniture pieces.
LINENS/CURTAINS: All valances, swags, panels have a 1 1/2' header with a 2" rod pocket. Panels have matching tie backs. The Primitive Lane does not stock every pattern on this website. Any pattern that is not regularly stocked by The Primitive Lane will have a minimum order of one dozen on the placemats, napkins and dishtowels/dishclothes, six decorative dishtowels and two on the curtains patterns. All special orders are non-refundable (non-regular stock). Any regular stock returns must be made in seven days and include orginal packaging. DISHWARE: Most dishware is microwave/dishwasher safe. The Primitive Lane does not carry all dishware patterns in stock . Dishware needs to be purchased in fours. ie:four dinner plates, four bowls. All special order (non-regular stock) dishware patterns are non-refundable. Please contact us at The Primitive Lane for more information.
RUGS: The Primitive Lane does carry a large inventory of rugs available for immediate shipping. Any rugs larger than 4' x 6' are special order rugs with a 4-6 week lead time. All order need to be paid in full . All special order rugs are non-refundable. We do have swatches available in store only.
RETURN POLICY: All special orders are non-refundable. Any regular stock returns must be made within 15 days(mail only) or 7 days in store purchases. Shipping charges will not be returned and you are responsible for the shipping charges to return the item. Any unused items in original condition with original packaging and tags may be returned for store for credit only (excluding postage) . Please email or phone us immediately. Products subject to misuse and/or mishandling are not eligible for a refund. Missing parts or manuals could result in restocking fees. Again, no responsibility will be taken for any items damaged in transit. You may ship the package(s) back to us by any shipping means you wish (Postal Service, FedEx, UPS, etc), however All RETURN shipping charges and brokerage fees incurred are the customer's responsibility. If we are required to pay any fees to accept a returned item, it will be deducted from your credit. Once we have received your return , we will email/phone you within 2 days with your credit total. You are entitled to the manufacturer's limited warranty that accompanies products. If an item is found to be faulty, the product will be replaced, and all additional shipping charges, to and from, will be covered. Please Note: All items have been thoroughly checked over before being carefully packaged.
SPECIAL ORDERS: Special Order Items are items not regularly stocked and are ordered upon customer purchase. The order total will be charged to your credit card prior to ordering the item from the manufacturer. If you have ordered a Special Order Item, you will be notified via email/phone, and all in-stock items will be held until your order is complete before being shipped. All Special Orders are Final Sale. Average processing time can range from 2 to 12 weeks, depending on product availability from the manufacturer. However, we will not be held accountable for processing time exceeding 12 weeks. We will do our best to keep you updated on the status of your order.
